The concept of political asylum is one of the judicial concepts that attracted the interest of ancient and modern societies, which is understandable to give a person who is subjected to persecution asylum because of his political opinions or religious beliefs. Refugees do not enjoy it from other forms of asylum… This concept was also known in ancient times in the time of the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Hebrews and Arabs in the time of ignorance. Because of the importance of this issue politically and socially, it has maintained its interest in modern international societies, as many international agreements deal with this right and set rights for the political refugee and obligate him with duties corresponding to these rights granted to him. Many national and international constitutions dealt with it. Many countries have enacted internal laws for the benefit of the political refugee, in line with the relevant international conventions.
