The relationship between social media use and social trust(Audience of Dhi Qar Governorate as a model)

The current study aims to know the relationship between social networking sites and social trust, and to identify the causes and factors affecting social trust, according to determining levels of social trust (individual, personal, societal). And social trust, and this question has been answered through the application of the practical field study through the data collection tools represented by the questionnaire, according to the descriptive survey method, on a sample of (480) individuals randomly assigned to members of the Iraqi community, specifically to the public of Dhi Qar governorate, as well as its districts and districts. The questionnaire included five comprehensive axes, various questions that summarize the research and study variables, and the study belonged to all studies of a quantitative nature. The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which included that the majority of the sample members answered the publication of topics and public images according to the degree of privacy of the respondents in social networking sites, and that they use social networking sites randomly without specifying the purpose of use according to the selective exposure of the respondents to social networking sites, and that the majority of respondents The respondents’ answers about the levels of social trust in the meeting for social networking sites came in favor of the individual, meaning I trust according to a specific situation, and that the answers about the mechanisms of the impact of social networking sites on social trust came in favor of non-compliance with laws, traditions, standards and social values, and the results confirmed that the majority of the answers of individuals The sample about their trust in social networking sites was average. The researcher has reached a set of recommendations that will address the problem of the study, through the researcher’s recommendation for individuals who are highly exposed to social networking sites, to determine the goals of use and to stay away from random use, focus on the trusted person, study his human nature and intentions, and not trust him until after making sure that the reliable It will not fail the confident individual so that this betrayal does not result in psychological, moral and other consequences and damage, and to strengthen personal trust based on the principle of I trust you according to a certain behavior in order to determine the requirements of the trusted from the trusted, distrust of the content available on social networking sites in a way.
