Stylistic phenomena in Imam Ali’s letters to his opponents (Al-Naketheen, Al-Mareqeen and Al-Qasitin)

Maybe the most important thing that stylistics has appeared based on it, is analyzing the hidden mysteries that make the statement able to convey its perspective and approach to interlocutor, identifying the internal and external rules in the structures of literary expressions and understanding the elements and implications. Each stylist has special ways to enter the atmosphere of context by it. stylist can start doing the research wherever he wants. In this research the author believes that the visions of stylistics in Imam Ali’s letters and also including outlooks are obvious to people who analyzed the life conduct of Imam Ali as many researches and university dissertations have proved it. Imam Ali’s letters in Nahj-Al-Balagha and also historical books are the samples of Shiite literature that are distinctive in genius of style and the treasure full of vocabularies. What gets the people’s attention in these letters more than the other letters, are the living and dynamic spirit in it. so that when the researcher reads it more and more, his culture and wealth increases. So that the researcher in this dissertation is about to analyze Imam Ali’s letters in response to his opponents (including Nakesin, Mareghin, Ghasetin) in terms of stylistic researches and based on descriptive-analytical way. In this way, the seasons of dissertation includes: first season: the concept of letters, their types and expressing the lexical and idiomatic concept of stylistic. The second season allocates to research in level of lexical letters of Imam which includes three subjects: the first subject: phonetic level. Second subject: syntactic level. And third subject: vocabulary level. In the third season the researcher pays attention to literary level and has divided it in two elements of expression and novelty. He has allocated the fourth season to analyzing the intellectual level and has analyzed the letters in two directions of political and mental subjects. At last the author has achieved some results. The most important results are out going letters of Imam to his opponents is really distinctive in lots of visions of stylistics to have more effects on interlocutor such as rhyme and parallelism that are including music and pleasant words. Also these letters include emphasis element that because of the intensity of opposition this way has been used. Imam has used the unreal interrogation with the purpose of irony, parody and denying against the interlocutor. at the expressive level the researcher believes that he has used a variety of expressive methods such as simile, imagery, metaphor and irony in a beautiful and original form. Imam has interestingly used innovative science such as paradox, confronting and alliteration. But about the letters he has paid attention to the topics of “Beyat” (it is allegiance) and “Pirahane Osman” (it is Osman’s shirt which means to make capital or a faked evidence of something) politically. Also in mental part, the rising power from mental effects of context on the interlocutor, by using forms of words and their coordination.
