This research first deals with the biography of the Iraqi poet Hamad al-Dakhi. He was born in the village and the village life made his dreams come back to him. Al-Dakhi also went through different stages in his life, which had an impact on his life and poems. Among them was hanging out with dervishes in their childhood and participating in their special gatherings in their homes. By examining these experiences and different stages of Al-Dakhi’s life, this research describes his scientific life, literary works and poetry collection. In the following, an inferential statistical analysis of the use of literary arrays in Al-Dakhi’s poems is presented. According to the results of this research, the percentage of use of singular simile is 3.33% in all literary arrays, and this is the highest rate of use o array in Al-Dakhi’s poems. while only 57.3% of compound similes were used. It must be said that the simile in Hamdal-Dakhi’s poetry seems out of the ordinary due to the combination with objects that can only be imagined. Just as semantics in his poems has distanced itself from its logical positions and has been referred to other places and abstract proposals. The array of metaphors is also used in Al-Dakhi’s poems in about 69.13%, which is the most in Al-Dufuf and Al-Marayeh (Tanbour and Mirror) poetry collection and the least in Al-Asma Kalha (All Names) poetry collection. , which is only three times. The existence of metaphors in Al-Dakhi’s poems indicates the open vision of the poet, which leads to the richness of his poetic space and reveals the creative potentials that lead to the effective interaction of the poet and the reader of his poems. About 23.8% of metaphors are seen in his poems, which ranks second among all arrays. Also, the percentage of using sensory matters is superior to moral or single matters in the identified metaphors. Rather than showing the relationship of the poem with something else, it shows the relationship with the lived reality and its blending with everyday affairs and conveying concepts. Looking at the array of virtual metaphors, the percentage of its use compared to all his poems is 71.10%. It should also be said that his poems have a glimpse of the context of the text of the poems, and in them the metaphorical image goes from the moral body to the carnal body, and at the same time, the percentage of using metaphors in his poems decreases. 35.5% and its themes will be limited to home, lover and nature. The reader of this study will notice that the metaphor of transcendence in his poetry has rich poetic themes that are related to place. This research, which has been carried out in a descriptive and analytical method, finally comes to the conclusion that irony array has the lowest share in the comparative chart by using 52.9%, and the statistics of adjectives and adverbs is one step higher than that. Irony tries to place his statistics in a higher rank than the attribute, which most of the times takes the same rank after the attribute. Sometimes there is no irony in the text.
