Narration in the travel literature of Basim Furat in his book (Amkinah tolawweh lilgharib)

There is no doubt that the literature of the journey is a gathering point, which serves as a meeting place for several discourses, some of which are literary, and some of which are outside the boundaries of literature.It combines history, geography, story and biography.

As a narrative narrative pattern organized in a specific temporal and spatial domain in which the narrator translates a life of a creative nature on a vital or cognitive level. It deals with the narration and is based on two basic matters, the first of which is to include a specific story that presents certain events ,And second, to choose the way the story is told , narration is the mainstay on which to distinguish the patterns of speech basically. From this point of view, the story needs the presence of a person who tells (a narrator), a person who is told (which is narrated to him) and a story material, which is the (narrated), As a result of the lack of studies in the literary field that deal with the literature of the Iraqi journey, very little , after research and investigation, we found that previous studies were limited to studying the travels of Arab writers , This was a reason to study the journey of an Iraqi poet, the traveler Karbalai (Bassem Furat), who considered the journey of those who took trips to places that travelers did not reach before him and without his trips in his book (Places Waving to Stranger), in which he recounted the details of his trips back and forth , and we set out in this research to study the travel literature of Bassem Furat. In the first chapter, we discussed the research methodology, the research problem, the research objectives and the studies that preceded it within the (methodological framework) , as for the second chapter, it was devoted to presenting the components of the narration and its divisions in the journey. The places and characters were among the most prominent components of the narration, and its sections are (narration in the journey, the narrator in the journey, the narrative to him in the journey, and the narrative formation), and it also included a presentation of the concept of the journey, its origin and importance, as for the third chapter, it was devoted to the practical framework of the components and techniques of narration, which are (the place, the characters, and the narrative situations of the traveler poet Basem Furat, the nomadic discourse and its narrative values, and a description of the elements of narration and its features in his book.  The Technical prominent role in the research method. This resulted in several results, which are that the journey is a human, historical and social activity for the travelers in the name of Furat, where the narration was realistic and revolves around the events that the travelers lived and encountered and described them within a time and place, for the purpose of conveying a picture of the travelers’ interest in the name of Furat in history, and its relationship to places, archeology and the arts.  culture, customs and traditions of peoples.
