God Almighty created man, gave him the means of acquiring knowledge and provided him with this great gem called (the mind), which distinguished him from other animals. The Qur’an and the comprehensive radical change it brought about in the pre-Islamic society and to the present day. The most important feature of this study is that it establishes a scientific methodology based on the Holy Qur’an in combating illiteracy and ignorance, through realistic Islamic applications, considering that the Islamic religion as a religion of science, knowledge and guidance does not intersect with science, but rather aims to invest in opportunities for scientific and technological development in the service of man, to obtain them Happiness, well-being and stability. Jahiliyyah is not confined to the time before the Prophet’s mission, but extends through the paths of time and place, and we find it even in the periods that followed the mission of the Prophet (peace be upon him), but rather to this day so this situation exserted in the past up to day and will exest in the future. Among the narrations and hadiths that show how life was in general before the revelation of the Noble Qur’an, but the educational reality, which is the subject of our research, had other dimensions. And to focus on the reality of education before Islam and the proohecy of The Noble Messenger , people thought Arab’s were in a blind and misguided ignorance, they did not read or write, and That knowledge of writing was few among them, and from here all nations were illiterate in terms of the majority, and they differed only in the percentage of the educated, specialists, and diligent ones and their rank in it. There was no organized science, nor scholars writing down its rules, nor a single religion uniting them under its flag ; Rather, they were scattered, conflicting sects, feuding among themselves, where ignorance, illiteracy, poverty and disease prevailed. The emergence of Islam at that time was an inevitable result, and a clear dominant of that life. The research concluded with a basic conclusion: that the Holy Qur’an has a fundamental and pivotal role in domination illiteracy and ignorance, but rather its material and moral dimensions. The Qur’an was not satisfied with confronting this phenomenon, but rather gave the ideal model for an educated society based on science and knowledge, which promotes the nation’s civilizational advancement.
