Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is a book containing a collection of supplications that Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussein, Zayn al-Abidin, PBUH,  spelled out to his two sons, Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir (PBUH) and Zayd ibn Ali. This book is known by other names such as the Gospel of the Ahl al-Bayt, the Zabūr of Ale-Muhammad and Okht ol-Qur’an. What
remains of the Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya consists of 54 supplications.  Imam Sajjad (PBUH) has taken help from supplication to present his sciences, such as ethical, mystical, and cognitive concepts, and chart Islamic values in the fields of social, economic, and political life. Considering the special importance of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya among Muslims, especially Shiites, it was decided to examine the present and descriptive sentences in the supplications of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya. Examining these structures of Al-Sahifa al Sajjadiyya helps us to understand its ethical concepts, including basic and deep implicit concepts related to the religious culture and Quranic attitude of Imam Zain al-Abidin,  because examining these structures forces the reader to rely on these concepts in the religious field. The examination of the sentence structure of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, especially from the stylistic approach, helps in understanding the meanings depicting the
Imam’s religious experiences, which are taken from the divine sayings,  and it is necessary to rely on these sayings to achieve success. Therefore, this research, with a descriptive-analytical approach,  tries to reveal the style of descriptive sentences in Al-Sahifa
al-Sajjadiyya’s book and identify their nature in this book. This research has explained the important role of adverbial and descriptive sentences; their types; their components; the meanings of each supplication; the integrity of the text containing structures with deep content; as well as the consonance of words with the meanings hidden in those words. The researcher has come to the conclusion that descriptive sentences in the words of Imam Sajjad (PBUH), in general, and in his supplications, in particular, were very common, but descriptive sentences were more used in the Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya.
