In light of the developments that the world witnessed following the outbreak of the Corona Quid epidemic, and because of our belief in the need for scientific research on the scale of this epidemic, and because of its direct impact on all areas of political, religious, social, economic, health and media This treatise was prepared. Despite the great advances in science and technology that human beings have achieved, human beings are still incapable of facing the crises and environmental and health dangers that threaten their lives, and the media is undoubtedly the most important crisis management tool in the contemporary world.

The media also, through its various tools, helps to raise awareness, guidance and culture-building in the time of Corona. The rapid spread of the corona in Iraq has put the country’s official and private media in a major challenge in dealing with the epidemic, especially as Iraq is experiencing many crises in various walks of life. We have dealt with the corona epidemic with health awareness; This study was conducted by analyzing the content of a sample of the main news of these two networks from the beginning of April to the end of June 2020 and based on two saturation theories and media frameworks to understand the achievements of Iraqi public and private media in the field of news awareness; This is made possible by answering the main question: How did the two news channels Al-Iraqiyah and Sumeria raise health awareness about the Corona epidemic in their main news?

To answer this question, we have used descriptive-analytical method, which is one of the types of scientific research and intends to describe the explicit content of the content of the analyzed media by describing. The most important conclusion reached by the present study is that Al-Iraqiya news channel ranks first with 57.4% of total time devoted to issues related to the Corona crisis, followed by Al-Sumaria with 46.9%. Precautions come first on issues related to the Corona epidemic crisis, followed by guidelines and then support for medical staff and hospitals. The positive category is primarily the approaches to addressing issues related to the corona crisis, followed by the negative category and then the neutral category. The framework of human attention is at the forefront of the framework used in the context of the Corona crisis, followed by the framework of warning and fear.
