From a look at the methodology of a work entitled “Quranic intertextuality in the poetic thought of the new era,” a few points can be deduced:
First, the issue of the intertextuality of the Qur’an is raised with the poet and his poetry. This explains the most important research problems and obstacles facing a researcher in the process of such research due to the danger of using this term in poetry under the title of intertextuality. However, what makes it easier is that the poets are influenced by the verses of the Qur’an, and their poetry contains many Qur’anic words, structures, and stories. Therefore, the researcher has tried to carefully and cautiously examine the details of the subject and achieve the desired results.
Second, the researcher has used the analytical-descriptive method for the cases he has observed in his research. Therefore, the researcher has studied the details of the phrase and its closeness to the poet’s poetry and referred to the main sources to identify the word. This convergence has made this research highlight one of the influences of the Qur’an. This is the nature of the environment in which a person lives and affects his life. What makes this effect even greater is the belief that the Qur’an is a divine book and was sent by God. Therefore, reading and following its rules is a condition of worship and servitude.
Third, every piece of research should have results that are both the result and a summary of that research. These results are embodied in the expression of the verses that the poet has been influenced by, and depicted in his poetry. In fact, these results are the expression of a poet of the modern age who embodied this intertextuality in the true sense. In addition to the points presented in the expression of experiences by the poet and the wisdom he seeks, the poet has also added points by telling the stories of the Qur’an and his experiences with people.
This research came to a summary of the Qur’anic texts that the poet has used and what he has emphasized or where he has inspired his ideas.
