This study, entitled “multicultural in the novels of Inaam Kachachi “, has aimed to study a cultural theme within its artistic dimensions in the literary and biographical text. The theme is the theme of “multicultural,” which is the general concept in the field of social studies and how it appears in the literary text through its personal elements , place, time. The question of “multicultural ” concerns the existence of many cultures coexisting in the same physical, geographical or social space. It includes all the differences that are framed within culture, whether religious, linguistic, and ethnic or gender, in the personal narrative text elements and their relationship to place and time. We discuss cultural diversity in building the character within the narrative text. By deeply investigating the novels of the Iraqi writer Inaam Kachachi, the study covered the concepts of research by presenting the main and sucondary questions and the importance of the study and introducing the culture and multi cultural at the linguistic and idiomatic level and the concept of hybridity and identifying the narratives of cultural pluralism and its characteristics as well as the life of the novelist in addition to her novels (Swaqi Al-Quloub in 2005, Al hafida al Amirkiya in 2008, Tashari in 2013, and Al-Nabizeh in 2017). According to the structures of the various characters, the writer presented various relationship and for each character ,according to his culture, has a relation to the place Including the personality of the multicultural, the character of the immigrant, the different ideology, and the different sex. The novels also highlighted the value of religious and human tolerance throughout history, which the Iraqi person was living through historical periods of half a century and the interventions of the authority in them. the original question that was asked at the beginning of the research is how does the fictional text deal with the issue of multicultural narratively, according to Innam Kachachi? As a result, the novelist presented a critical treatment through her four novels “Swaqi Al-Quloub, Hafida al Amirkiya, Tashari, Al-Nabiza” with types of characters representing multicultural within the Iraqi community in different buildings and different spatial relationships. The study reached the results. 1. The novels produced a parallel narrative to the narratives of power, sometimes being oppressed by society. The novels focus on the human perspective, and they are a parallel narrative to the narratives of power and society, and some statements of religion and power. 2. The novels are considered a historical account of Iraq’s past and present by narrating real facts within the novels that included realities of fifty years and depicting them in a way that attracts the reader.
