The New Theology is a call for a comprehensive reconstruction of theology, beyond Aristotelian logic to modern logic and philosophy, It is liberated from the dominance of naturalists, human studies and the old world view by defining the gains of sciences and human studies and the new world view. Accordingly, the method and structure of theology will be transformed, and many of its issues will change. Rather, there will be a change in its nature and function. Instead of being preoccupied with defending beliefs, his new job becomes to explain, clarify and analyze beliefs, reveal the motives for the need for religion and the various practical effects of its representations and transformations in the life of the individual and the group according to the patterns of culture and the nature of urbanization and human socialization. Renewal in theology is opening the door to ijtihad in theology, just as there is a need to open the door to ijtihad in all knowledge of religion and Islamic sciences. Theology itself is more necessary because it forms the basis As Abdul Jabbar Al-Rifai considers it the theory of knowledge in Islam, every process of renewal that does not take place by renewing the theory of knowledge ends in a dead end. This renewal includes changing the image that the imams of the sects and the early mujtahids in theology drew for us, because this image is no longer adequate to the requirements of Muslim belief in this era. Where this picture produced the saying of the surviving group and the saying of loyalty and disavowal, where the persistence of some reached that it is not permissible for a non-Muslim to begin with the greeting of peace and it is not permissible to congratulate him. The ancient science of theology produced for us atonement so that it forces you to break with the other. The new theology aspires to paint a bright and luminous picture of God that expands to accommodate everyone who shares with you in humanity, just as the new theology is concerned with the great universal values that all religions share. As a result, it allows you to deal with all people of different beliefs and cultures without sensitivity and without embarrassment. The new science of theology represents a new horizon in building belief and rises to be a philosophy of life and a new philosophy in what the Holy Qur’an contains about eternal values that do not express a specific period of time and do not express a particular society or group, and these values represent human commons.
