Islamic Arabic literature represents a clear historical and heritage value، and it is nothing but a bright and true image conveyed by the Islamic community through their poems. It is of great importance in the life of the nation; Because it is a summary of past experiences، a source for recording her various knowledge، and a witness to her advancement، so I dealt in this study with an important aspect of our Arab literary heritage represented in the poetry of (Ka`b bin Malik)، so it was necessary to highlight his poetry، especially the narrative aspect surrounding his poetry، so it was chosen to be The focus of research and study because we found clear narrative features and elements in his poetry
This study was concerned with re-reading Islamic poetry and exploring some features of the narrative construction in the Arabic poem in the Islamic era through the use of time، place، personality and event of the poet (Kaab bin Malik) in order to obtain the manifestations of the realistic psychological picture in that time period where we find the narrative levels were present and at All poets، but to varying degrees، and the descriptive analytical method was adopted in writing this research.
The researcher also concluded that Ka’b bin Malik’s poetry abounded in all narrative elements، and the event formed a distinct presence in the narrative text of Kaab bin Malik، as (personality) came as a clear narrative manifestation، which contributed to the formation of the narrative structure in the texts of Kaab bin Malik، and the narrative element emerged. Time) was at Kaab bin Malik and formed a wide framework to accommodate other narrative elements such as place، event، and personality، as the place varied in Kaab bin Malik’s poetry on two types: it is the beloved and the hostile one، and the dialogue has taken a large space in his poetry.
