Throughout history, human beings have suffered from corruption in various forms, because it is one of the ancient social phenomena, and in recent times, especially in Iraq, it has spread due to the disobedience of political and administrative authorities to clear and announced laws. The controls that enable them to control them, also because of the ignorance or fear of the citizens or because of the lack of freedom of expression and for many other reasons. And if it forces its owners to use it for purposes other than what they have been given, it will commit all kinds of administrative and financial corruption, and if we know that corruption has high social and economic costs, it will delay the wheel of development. Throw. It achieves the welfare of the people, weakens the structure of democracy, and limits the scope of the rule of law and institutions. Based on this idea, we direct our research to examine the responsibility of the Integrity Commission as one of the official organs of the country and its legal role in the fight against corruption in all its forms, as well as the structure, independence and autonomy of this commission. . And has an important role to play in overseeing all government facilities to ensure that they comply with the law and the will of the people. We have used descriptive-analytical method. We came to the conclusion that after the fall of the Iraqi political system in 2003, the Integrity Commission in Iraq was established in response to the spread of the phenomenon of administrative and financial corruption in the government departments and offices of this institution. It is an independent investigative body that investigates cases of government corruption, and this is done by a group of inspectors appointed by the commission and working under the supervision of an investigating judge. The commission deals with two types of cases, namely corruption cases that occurred after (7/17/1368) before the issuance of the foundation law, and the foundation law has only a reference in the foundation law. Implementing reference law No. 30 of 1390.
