Stylistics of New Iraqi Prose Poems (Rahim Al-Gharbawi’s Collection of Poems as a Model)

This research deals with the stylistics of new Iraqi prose odes and tries to investigate the pervasive effects of the new Iraqi prose style in the poems of Rahim Gharbawi, one of the new Iraqi poets. In this research, the lexical and idiomatic definition of style is first discussed, and then the concept of style is presented from the perspective of linguists and writers, old and new, and their linguistic uses of style and their views on the definition of style. In the next step, the relationship between the definition and the linguistic and idiomatic concept of style will be discussed in order to examine the historical precedence between style and stylistics, and finally, we will get to know the prose ode and the elements that contributed to its creation in Arabic poetry. Who first used the term prose poem in Arabic literature? And in the following, we will explore the reasons that caused the emergence of prose odes in Iraq in order to answer the basic question of this research, what are the aesthetic effects of the new Iraqi prose odes? And based on what was said, we base the research hypothesis on the theory that the linguistic and rhetorical effects of the Iraqi prose poem have expanded the circle of semantics and added to the richness of Iraqi language and literature. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and the reason for using it is to describe and explain the literary genres of Iraqi prose today and reveal its new artistic and aesthetic dimensions. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of new Iraqi prose ode style on phonetics through phonetic phenomena, repetition, puns and sajja and to investigate its effect on the combined style in terms of structural methods, news, rhetoric, delay and shorthand method, as well as the effect of this style on In terms of meaning, we will discuss arrays such as simile, metaphorical addition, intratextual and intertextual matching, which are among the common arrays of stylistics.
