The use of social media and their impact on improving interactive aspects and critical thinking

After the failures of traditional teaching methods, theorists have recently emphasized the active role of students in education in which the teacher is no longer merely a transmitter of knowledge. It was necessary to search for new means of education. Which prompted us in this current study to research and discover the benefits of using social networks in improving the interactive aspect and critical thinking of university students. The title of our study (the use of social networks and its impact on improving interactive aspects and critical thinking (Sumer University students as a model)) according to a main question: What is the impact of using social networks in improving the interactive aspects and critical thinking of Sumer University students? The use of social media can also lead To increase critical thinking skills. With students interacting more with social media, and since the research falls within the context of the social and human sciences, which depend in achieving its goals on the analytical descriptive approach either in a quantitative or qualitative manner, and to achieve the objectives of the study will be relied on the quantitative method by collecting data through a questionnaire that will be distributed On a sample of students and university professors at the University of Sumer, it consisted of 1500 items distributed (1450 students and 65 professors) to be used in testing the study hypotheses.
