This study aims to clarify the stages of the Arab-Islamic conquest of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) at the present time, and what resulted in the expansion of the Muslim Arabs in it and the conduct of the military campaigns of Tarif bin Malik Al-Maafiri, nicknamed (Abu Zara’a), Tariq bin Ziyad and Musa bin Nasir, and the events that occurred during them during The conquests and then identifying the motives that led to the Muslims’ conquest of the peninsula and the most prominent results that resulted in the stability of Arabs, Berbers and loyalists and the spread of Islam widely in the country, Spain entered a new era and development, progress and progress began in their lives. Equality and justice were corrupted, and the privileged classes were eliminated and taxes were imposed on all classes Andalusian society. In this study, the historical method was adopted in collecting information from the resulting sources related to its subject, and then analyzing the information in order to reach the historical facts of the Arab-Muslim conquest. This study has reached important results, the most important of which are: That the Muslims proceeded to conquer the Iberian Peninsula when the conditions became suitable for them in order to spread Islam, and that they were able to do so quickly despite the vastness of its land and the difficulty of its paths, because they were not occupiers, but conquerors. Most of its indigenous people, the spread of the Arabic language and religious tolerance, this was the main objective of the topic.
