With his study named (the effects of narrating elements in development of stories of Kadhim al-Ahmadi), the researcher tries to highlight the characters, place and time, and find the frames and methods used by the Iraqi narrator Kadhim al-Ahmadi in forming his stories. He mostly concentrated on the spiritual internal time and the natural outer time and conjuring the past and calling up the events, relating to the time through historical presumptions. The time in his stories changes according to the change of the events and circumstances surrounding the narrator and the characters which he mentioned in his stories. He also concentrated on the element of place as one of his narrating compartments, especially the south part of Iraq with its old fashion buildings beside mentioning the coffee shops, rivers, narrow alleys, parks and those places, security points, prisons and some places connected to the government, and joining between events, people, time and places, leaving the obscure points as they are. The narrator also Refers to the natural places describing them very carefully, and he used the description to show the psychological and social situations of his characters which he mentioned to in his stories including Main and secondary characters. The narrator used different narrating methods like self-narrating and subjective methods as he sometime mix between them, while the narration was somehow by him or by the characters. He specified his narrating view through the internal and outer sides of the characters by defining them precisely, and describing the events through his own point of views and ideas as if they are the sound of those characters using the Method of dialogue and expressing all sights of fear and worry, and mixing between the past (with all its memories) and the present where he lives.
