The study aimed to know the substantive trends of the Iraqi newspapers regarding the parliament’s decision regarding the exit of the occupying American forces from Iraq, and to know the extent to which the political blocs’ affiliation with the Iraqi newspapers is reflected in the coverage of the parliament’s decision regarding the exit of the occupying American forces from Iraq. The researcher also used the descriptive analytical method, which describes the phenomenon or situation objectively or statistically, and then analyzes the results of the research in an analysis commensurate with the study of the phenomenon and hypotheses and its research, where he used content analysis. It relied on the ten reports published in the newspaper. In this thesis, the researcher concluded the following: The Al-Sabah newspaper’s trends were more neutral in the few reports it published regarding the parliament’s decision regarding the exit of the occupying forces from Iraq, some of which tended to be negative trends. She did not give the subject sufficient importance, since since the parliament’s decision in 2020 to this day, it has published only ten news reports regarding the parliament’s decision regarding the withdrawal of the occupying forces, in addition to the fact that it did not pay attention to the image in the reports in terms of color, quality and accuracy. The site showed great interest in editing press reports, as it concerns most of the site’s audience, and the news report constitutes an important element in the press process. The newspaper report in Al-Sabah newspaper about the exit of the US forces sheds light on the political axes and then moved to the economic axes and did not shed light on their impact on society or culture. The press reports used different solicitations, including mental solicitation, then fear solicitation, and finally emotional solicitations were used for one time.
