During the reign of the Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha, the Ottoman Empire reached the zenith of its power when it undermined the pillars of a future empire (the Byzantine Empire), which posed a challenge to the various political forces in the East through historical ages. The West found itself in front of a country that has practically become the focus of world politics, and it is worth noting that most of the Arab studies that were written about the Ottoman state during the era of the Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha, have devoted themselves to studying the conquests without focusing on other aspects of the history of the Ottoman state during the era of the Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha.

These studies also neglected regional developments and their repercussions on the Ottoman Empire, so my desire to follow up on these issues was a motivator for my choice of the era (the subject of the study). While the knowledge of the history of the Ottoman Empire was another factor that prompted me to choose this topic, due to the significant importance of the sources recorded in this language. Without it, the study remains incomplete

The research aims to study the personality of Ibrahim Pasha, the Grand Vizier in the Ottoman Empire, and help him in the expansion of the state, the most important positions he held, and the reasons for his execution.

Ibrahim Pasha belonged to a poor family, where his father worked as a fisherman, and Ibrahim Pasha married Sultana Khadija, sister of Sultan Suleiman. Among them are two sons, Shah Muhammad and Shah Uthman, and Ibrahim Pasha had another wife, and she was his first wife, and she was a benefactor.

The accusation of the greed of the Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha, which was mentioned by most historians, was nothing but accusations leveled against him, and this does not prevent him from loving power and becoming very ambitious, whether he was crazy to think that he could replace Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent on the throne of the Ottoman state, a position No one has the right to assume it unless he is from the family of Othman, because he is confined to them only. How can the Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha think like this?
