Authennic isolated narrations are among the common of communication among people. In most Usuli schoolars` point of view, authentic isolated narrations, though being uncertain and presumptive, are considered –like certain means- to be one of the ways that are used both by the master for giving ulltmatums, and by the servant as a proof that justifies them in case the narrations was in reality untrue. It must be noted that this authentic means, while used by the jurisprudent for issuing verdicts, faces not so much problems, nevertheless, it is challenged a lot when used in theology. Some scholars persist that, in theological issues, it is irrational to base one`s belief on a presumptive and uncertain means, because, had such a means –like isolated narrations- been valid, it would mean that the master orders a person who is not utterly certain about something, to be certain, and to base their belife on this certainty. And this is impossible, since believing is not a volitional act; therefore it makes no sense that the master orders his servants in such a matter. Other scholars believe that the proofs predented for the validity of isolated narrations are exclusive of theological issues. But thse who regard the proofs inclusive of the theological issues believe that there is no reason for confining the proofs to jurisprudence. They do not give apparent explanations for the rational problem, except what some of them say, persisting on the possibility of presumptive and uncertain belief defined as a relative inward conviction which is as deep as the level of the obtained knowledge. In this thsis, the author tries to illustrate these viewpoints completely, and, through redefining validity and belief, get to an apparent and convincing conclusion.
