Destruction of Jerusalem and second temple by romans in70 AD are of significant importance in Jewish history. Destruction of second temple by Titus led to the exile of Jews from Jerusalem and their slaughtering and scattering. This event made Jews confused about their religious duties because of the central role of temple in performing Jewish rites and rituals. Also the significance of priests and their unique role in approaching the sacred should not be ignored. Before destruction of the second temple, Judaism was temple-centered and the sacrifice ritual was considered the most important religious practice being performed by priests. Destruction of second temple highly influenced the life and religiosity of Jews in so as all Jewish denominations vanished and Pharisees helped the survival of Judaism by interpreting the bible. In this way the oral law was shaped and became the primary core of a set of Jewish cultural, practical and belief system named Talmud. Josephus as a historian present that time witnessed all events of the war between Jews and romans. In his book” the Jewish war, he describes present denominations and the causes of revolt against romans in details. The revolt which led to destruction of the temple and Jew’s diaspora.
