The necessity and importance of  Islamic Denominations,  proximity and Islamic unity on the one hand and geopolitical and  geostrategical  importance of  Lebanon on the other hand, has brought about a scientifically special position for the issue of surveying the capacities and challenges  of  Islamic denominations, proximity in Lebanon as a Muslim majority country. The  necessity  and  importance of  Islamic denominations, proximity in Lebanon would be clear, taking  this country, s religious, cultural and political influence on middle east and Islamic Arab countries, into consideration. From another point of view, taking the policies of  the  global arrogant powers ,Zionist regime and  United States at their top, into consideration, the importance of Islamic denominations, proximity in Lebanon would be clarified further. This essay seeks surveying proximity capacities in juristical and theological thoughts of  Lebanese Shiite and Sunni ulama (religion scholars), taking a look at religious and political movements in this country as well as potential and actual capacities of proximity and the challenges ending in proximity threats or opportunities in Lebanon.
