Fars region is one of the oldest centers for Activity of Shiite. It is important for being of first capital of “Buyid dynasty”, the Shiite central government in Iran.  Research on the history of the emergence and spread of religious, social and political Shi’ism in the Fars region helps us have better portray of the Shia in Iran since the early days to the present time. Geographically, this region includes vast area of Southern Iran. This Research attempts to: 1. Study the entry and spread of Shiism in Fars. These factors are divided into two categories: factors that cause entry and spread of Shi’ism in the Region. 2. Entry factors include: A) the presence of some agents of Imam Alī (Pbuh) in Fars such as : Sahl ibn Hanif, Abdullah bin Abbas, Sharik Ben Aour. B) the existance of persian companions of Imams that quoted many traditions about customs of the legal issues and practice of the Ziarah of Imam Hossein (Pbuh), such as Abdullah bin Bkyr Arjany, Hassan bin Abdullah Arjany, Muhammad bin Qasim Nushjany, Abdulhamid Istakhri. C) Connection of the Persian Shiites to Imams such as Abdullah bin Kysan and visiting of Imam Mahdi (Pbuh) by some Farsis like Almajruh; entering Imam Reza to Fars; The presence of Salim bin Qais Hilali, Atieh Oufi, Hijr ibn Uday and Yahia bin Abdullah in Fars. D) Entering of Imam Zadehs (sons and grandsons of Imams), Saadaats and many of the Bani Hashim like Ahmad ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn Musa and Zaid Aswad to Shiraz in addition to Shiite uprisings against the rule of the Umayyad and Abbasid in Fars. 3. Factors for Shia expansion, such as: A) the existence of a Shiite state as Buyid dynasty. B) Shia families like Dashtaki, Beirami, and Hosseini. C) the existence of scholars, jurists, narrators, directors, local chiefs and political, cultural figures that were shia in Fars  as well as governments and religious groups that had a tendency to Shia. Also Sufi groups who gradualy go for shia Like Naqtaivyeh, Noorbakhshiyeh;  influence of Shirazi Shiite in Africa and the establishment of the government of Zangbar, also some Shi’a scholars traveled to Iran such as Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Naamani, the auther of “Al Gheibah” . Definitely, it can be concluded that the spread of Shiism in Fars was by autherity of Buyid dynasty in the fourth century. The time domain of this research is from the beginning to the Safavid state, and the Geographic Scope is old Fars.
