Tidjanism and its spreading in Egypt

Tedjanism is one of the latest branches of Sufism in Islam world. This order has been established by Ahmad Tijani in 1196. After he experienced several paths as Qaderism, Khalvatism and Naserism and after he was permitted by his teachers to advertise He was commanded by the holy prophet in a dream to guide and support the followers. He claimed that the holy prophet has called him as his boy and introduced him as the last caliph (khatam al-aulia). Ahmad Tejani counted forty conditions to enter his path which he named Ebrahimism or Tejanism. He also declared some compulsory slogans for his path that involves: 100 repentance passage (esteghfar), 100 salavat , 100 monotheism word (la elaha ella allah). In case of theory mysticism viewpoints he had the same opinions as monism, doom and mastery ending. They belive that it’s necessary to act similar with one of the Sonny Paths and there is no difference between these paths from paths viewpoint. They believe that not only it’s allowed to request and ask for support from holy prophet but it’s also allowed to ask for help from right hand men soul. They involve visiting (ziarat) Tejanism great men grave one of the most important parts of their path. The first place this path has started working from was Egypt by a man called Qasem Sharji. Some other people who had great effects on spreading and providing this path in Egypt are: Mohammad Zaitooni, Ahmad Alsabai and Mohammad Alhafiz abd-al al-Latif alTejani. There are more than 750000 people in Egypt believing in Tejanism. They do their activities in 31 mosque and zavia in different cities such as: Cairo, Al-ayat (Giza), Alexandria, Ismailia, port said, Zagazig, Adliah, Al-zavamil, bilbais, Qarmalah, Al-sute, Esna, Qena, Com-ambo, Asvan, Sohag, Al-arish, Atmideh, Arish, Mit-Qamar center in Al-mansura, Tahanub and Banha in Qeliubiah. Their present sheikh is Ahmad-ebn-Mohammad Al-hafiz abd-al-Latif al-Tijani who is advertising this path in the main zavia in Cairo.
