This paper investigates video games, based on conformation of the classical aesthetics with contemporary theories of interactive media studies and strongly suggests video games have potential to consider as fine art. It shows Kant’s theory can deeply effects on current complicated concepts such as beauty and also can be an applied theory for evaluation of modern interactive media. This study, according to the history of video games and in light of the development of aesthetic forms and classical aesthetic values, tries to introduce video games as a fine art so can be evaluated on the aesthetic. At the end, for example, one of the best and the most successful video game examines according to Kantian aesthetic criteria. Creating a successful video game is much like of creating a work of art. And video games are so suitable to achieve beauty and sublimity.
