The intrigue of Babism in Zanjan””

Mahdaviat is one the most important foundation of Shiite lead the Shiites to light horizon as the driving to prevent stagnation of society. However, some Muslims misused this issue by introducing themselves to the society as fake Mahdi.  Especially in the contemporary age, a muslim called himself Bab and Mahdi and caused divisions and intrigue in the society of Iran. Mohammad Ali Zanjani Nicknamed the “Hojjat” caused one of these intrigues in the city of Zanjan. This intrigue was in 1266 H.G. in a city with a relatively religious background. The intrigue was cultivated for mysterious goals, whereby it put brother against brother and father against father, finally left mass killings and destructions, and vanished. After studding historical texts, we come to this conclusion that Mohammad Ali Zanjani was Babi anymore rather he attributed himself the Bab school of thought in order to reach his goals. This intrigue was prepared due to the remoteness of the people from Islamic knowledge. Foreign colonialists also played a significant role in the intrigue and supported the troublemakers a lot to for continuing the section.
