Having many disciples and influencing in social and intellectual stages, the order of Dasukiyya is considered one of the main orders of Sufism in Egypt so that the sepulcher of its founder in Dasukiyya is of great attention for sufies. According to its importance and because of gaps in thorough studies about this order in Persian and Arabic, this thesis aims to research on Dasukiyya meanwhile answering these questions: what are gnostic basis, customs and habits of the order? What changes it undergoes during these years and what is its social and political stage in the Egypt? In order to answer this question, the writer has studied different dimension of the order in Egypt such as speculative Sufism, basis of practical gnosis and its customs and habits as well as its history. Finally, this thesis reaches to the conclusion that establishing Dasukiyya during the crisis of seven century prepared a situation in which the order played a great political and social role but soon after the formation of modern government, Dasukiyya- like other religious institutions- has been submissive to the government oriented policies of Egypt.
