The research project is leading in five chapters. The first chapters explain the study as universal. In the second chapter I relate the criterions of moral values from the perspective of two major schools. One is school virtues which look into the realm of moral virtue that has established criteria for developing ethical values and virtues in human well-being. The second is obligatory School which considers the moral values as duty. In this view, the practical value of good moral duty is to be done. In the third chapter, I explain the roots of moral values as viewpoint of Nahjolbalaghe. Three forces of reason, nature, and revelation were introducing as source of moral values. According to Nahjolbalaghe criterion of moral values is determined closer to Allah. It is need many steps such as contentment, patience and reliance. In the end result all moral values sit that done for the sake of God, not other purposes, such as the desire for heaven and fear of hell. In this case, the “approach” is achieved.
