Comparing to other art means, Realistic Film enjoys some characteristics which are more capable to convey reality to the audience. While committed to the real, films’ reality is a constructed. Meanwhile, film can show its audiences valuable concepts through appropriate forms. This research aims to study a group of realistic films. Here we try to recognize these films’ potentials to convey religious concepts along with their capabilities and limitations. General religious approach consists of three areas: behavior, belief and feeling. This approach aims to elevate human towards perfection; considering this, film as a human life area can be a useful mean to achieve this goal. As an effective style, realistic fictional film in both fields (audience and way of performance) helps to identify the formalistic and content potentials; through it, an important sphere in audio-visual communication with huge number of audiences would be discussed and discovered. A unique example of this artistic method known as neo-realism cinema was presented as a style in Italy and other countries; this style created a process through which its dominant thought was conveyed to audiences. This research as a basic theoretical research uses descriptive content analysis in order to analyze Children of Heaven regarding its potential to convey religious concepts. This research considers realistic fictional film appropriate for presenting useful religious concepts. According to this research, artistic way of realistic film is not in contradiction to Islamic thought. Here, based on a skeptical hierarchy the quality of religious concepts presentation through realistic fictional film is discussed in a way that includes numerous examples from lowest to highest levels.
