“Mahdaviat in the view of Seyyed Mohammad Sadr (Review)”

The book encyclopedia of Imam Mahdi written by Sayyid Mohammad Sadr, is the most important books about Imam Mahdi. Although this encyclopedia answer many of Doubts and Questions related to Imam Mahdi, but analyzing it, we face some weaknesses in spite of its positive points. Writer has studied and analyzed Shahid Sadr’s ideas through analytical method about way of hiding Imam Mahdi from the enemies, the sanctity of the name of Imam Mahdi, who is the mother of Imam Mahdi, of scientific and experimental development of Imam in the time of occultation, to be hidden of his title nor his body during the occultation, signs of the appearance and coded symptoms such as Gog and Magog, Sufyani, Dajjal, the position of the companions of Imam Mahdi. In this paper we come to this conclusion that the sanctity of the name of Imam Mahdi confirmed by Imams was related to the time of Taghiyahh. The reason of the multiple names of Imam Mahdi’s mother was to save his life. The title of Imam Mahdi is hidden not his body in the time of occultation. Near and far symptoms of the emergence are approved. Symbolic interpretation of the traditions and signs of the appearance is problematic. In the case of heavenly Call being one of the Signs of the Advent, a single Call is questioned. Gog and Magog are the Signs of the Day of Judgment. Sufyani is a person not a symbol. Nafs Zakiyahh is not the same with Mohammad Ibn Abdollah Mahz. Companions Imam Mahdi cannot be a substitute for Raj’at.
