Some innovations and deviations after the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), especially at the time of the Umayyads led to the distancing of Muslims from the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and true Islam and conversion to Umayyad Islam. In the one hand, political pressures on the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) was the true heir of the Caliphate and the Muslim leadership and the other restrictions imposed on the His Followers, led the society to a non-interested community toward Ahl al-Bayt. But the more we get close to the end of the third century, the more Ahl al-Bayt gain people’s affection. A series of events and attempts led to changes in the second century. This dissertation tries to present the situation of Islam during the Umayyad and to explain strategy for genealogy of Imamate in the second century for transition of Muslim community from the Umayyad Islam and return to Prophet Islam. It seems that in the Umayyad period, Islamic society distanced from true Islam and its real heirs and headed to Islam without affection of Ahl al-Bayt. While in the second century, Muslim community became interested in Ahl al-Bayt and their affection toward them were upgraded. It seems that the main influence in this situation resulted from the effective role of Imams that were leaders of the Shiites in that period.
