Imam Hasan (‘a) the last Imam was caliph and fought against the enemies of Islam. He was the grandson of the Prophet (s) and the second Imam for people. His caliphate was not paid due attention, for it did not last long. Historians usually touch mostly on the long period and caliph’s power. On one hand, the era of Imam Hasan was the transferring of Islamic caliphate to royal government. This is an important issue that needs special attention. This important analysis encounters many barriers out of which lack of resources and their distortions can be mentioned here. The companions of Imam Hasan (‘a) had great effect events occurred in his era. The companions and those swore allegiance to the Imam were of different groups that this variety led the war of the Imam against Mu’awiyah to peace. Here, the companions of Imam Hasan were divided into five groups: Devotees who were few, world-worshippers, supporters of Bani Umayyah, the indifferent and Kharijites. Most of the companions were in a way indifferent or the followers of Sham (Levant). The analysis of events of the companions of Imam Hasan needs to go back to his era of caliphate particularly the era of the Commander of the Faithful. Here, this is done in terms of need and brevity. The thesis is in a way that in addition to dealing with Imam Hasan’s hard time and its reasons, important points of the most famous personalities are mentioned to help the reader himself can analyze more and to attain better results.
