Throughout his works, Mevlana Jalāleddin Rumi was under the influence of the Sheiks of Tariqa he had visited and accompanied or that of the previous literature he had studied including the works of Attār Neishāburi. In this research the role of Jalāleddin Mohammad Molavi Rumi in the development of Sheikh Fariduddin Attār, s tales is surveyed,Not only is the influence evident in the method in which he narrates the stories and tales but also one can trace it in the mystical thoughts he has taken from Attār which has resulted in the paraphrasing of most of the same tales throughout his works. Mevlana has scrutinized Attar, s viewpoints through delicate poetic points and mysterious clues, utulizing them in a pleasant way as well as some changes in the form and method of narration. In this basic research, through a descriptive method of working on library data, we try to compare Rumi, s approach to the quality of narration, form, content and purpose of the tales to that of Attar Neishāburi. Some characterisrics of his approach are: amplification or summerization, eploying satiric language, being wiser and more logical, enjoying stronger tone and more pleasant narration.
