From the 3rd and 4th Hijri centuries, when naïve asceticism of the early Islam pious tends towards affectation and with the expansion of the Khanqahs and their countless masters and disciples, Sufi dynasties have developed with their own particular organization. One of these pious masters who managed to establish a dynasty which has continued until now, is Shah Nimatullah Vali. After him, Nimatullahi dynasty with surmounting many ups and downs, divided in numerous branches. One of the most controversial issues was the polarity claim of Safi Alishah to be subrogation of Rahmat AliShah Shirazi. But what appears more important and also is the subject of this research, is the dispute over succession after Safi Alishah death and the claim of Shiraz branch to assign itself the title of the polarity of this dynasty. In this regard, the present study tries to study evidences and documents based on Shiraz branch’s claim of succession and his rituals in Tariqat ceremony, in addition to a brief mention of the Sufism history, Nematullahi dynasty, biography of Safi Alishah and how to establish a dynasty by him.
