Ibn Arabi is the main theorist of suffering interruption among the Sufis. In his books, especially the books “Conquest of Mecca and Hekam”, he argued about it. However he believe in Khouloud in hell but he also he believes in suffering interruption for dwellers in hell and a kind of blessing for them based on some principles being authentic for him. On the other hand, his opponents think that this theory is clearly against the Quran and believe in Khouloud and non-interruption of suffering. To confirm their view, they refer to the large volume of verses and hadiths, which state the eternality for category of sinners in hell and their non-interruption of suffering. In this paper, a picture of hell in the views of Ibn Arabi is depicted first, Then Ibn Arabi and his opponents’ views of the eternality in Hell, interruption or non-interruption of suffering and the reasons and arguments of both sides, are reviewed and explained eternality.
