“The Study of Religion and Religious Life: The Impact of Reflexivity on Religiosity”

The present survey intends to find out the relation between the experience of study of religion and religiosity. It examines how religious reflexivity, being the result of educating about modern approach of study of religion, has appeared into religiosity and religious viewpoint of students studing study of religion. For this purpose, two groups of students including seminary students studying study of religion and those not studying study of religion were chosen as treatment and control groups among students and researchers at the University of Religions and Denominations. The first group consists of 15 students who haven’t had the experience of the study of religion, and the second group of 15 students studying the seminary courses, besides for many years are engaged in the study of religion. Tools of narrative interviews were used to collect qualitative data from field of inquiry. And analysis is based on the analysis of narrative. The findings suggest the experience of the study of religion has led to the reflexive approache to their own religious attitude and changing the religiosity in all of these individuals.
