Sufism has a certain coherence with the Safavid. Safavid Shah Ismail came to power with the help of the sword of Sufis and continue to consolidate and expand the scope of his power with their support. European travelers wrote logbooks that contain reports and suppose as first class resources, give us the more accurate understanding of the situation and help to solve the problem that confront. Travelers in forms of numerous groups such as ambassadors, envoys of the court and its staff, merchants, nobles, scholars explorer, adventurer and missionaries were traveling to Iran with different goals and interests, and their notes contain information about the situation, especially the situation of Sufism. In this study, we look at the face of Sufis in the Safavid period. European travelers itinerary describe picture of the Sufis. It should be stressed that although the itineraries of Safavid are first class resources and learn us more about that period, but using that logbooks must be done with consideration of internal resources; otherwise distortion of Safavid historical events, is possible.
