The growth and development of Twelver Shia from early Islam to the present day is indebted to the efforts made by the scientists and hadith scholars all over the Islamic world. Meanwhile narrators and hadith scholars of the Levant which encompassed states like Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine played an important role both in maintaining Shia in this land and disseminating the Ahl al-Bayt’s teachings. The present research study tries to make an analysis of hadith history and Shia hadith scholars of the Levant and introduce the prominent scholars in the field of hadith scholarship in every corner of this land and display the ups and downs of transmitting and transcribing hadith in it. As a result, the present study comes to a list of 136 Twelver Shia Hadith scholars and narrators who have had the honour of disseminating religious teachings.
