Modesty is an innate and inner thing in the essence of human existence and as a moral and religious virtue has a special place in the divine religions, so that in various cultures as well as different religions, including the Abrahamic religions have spoken of its necessity and importance. The present study, considering the special importance of modesty and its effect on various aspects of individual and social life, has studied, explained its concept, examples and function in the Abrahamic religions. This issue has been studied in schools of thought, education, ethics, psychology and sociology. Is located. But it can be said that one of the most important sources that pay attention to the concepts and examples of modesty is the divine religions. The present study was conducted individually, library, basic and descriptive and achieved the following results: modesty as an inner and innate characteristic in the form of characteristics such as chastity and chastity, or as a dividing line between good and bad, right and wrong , Emerges. The issue of modesty in the concept of covering and hijab has been raised in the majority of past tribes throughout history and has been common among women.
