The relationship between the Quran and the Bible is one of the most important issue about which orientalists and scholars have discussed. Some of them believe in derivation and maintain that the Quran takes its teachings from the bible. They try to prove their claim through different ways such as historical and linguistic methods. There is a new view regarding this issue and the founder of this view is Angelika Neuwirth. She has written several books and essay in this regard. According to her, the Bible is reflected in the Quran through different ways. Ideas, concepts, teachings and stories of the Bible are some of the things which are reflected in the Quran. In this thesis we are going to survey this view and clarify it through case study. For Neuwirth, the most important thing is the context in which the Quran is revealed. She believes that there were several issues and concepts in the late antique period which the early Muslim encountered with and those issues made some dialogue and Q and A. these interactions are the things which form the Quran. For proving this idea, she brings several evidences and makes it affirm through some case studies. Criticizing the view besides mentioning the privildges of the view is another task that we are going to fulfill in this thesis.
