Muhammad Abu Zohra is one of the scholars of jurisprudence and journalist of sect in Egypt in the last century that are prominent and well-known figure due to its varied and numerous publications in the fields of law, principles, history, men, theology, Quranic social and political issues of our time. The book Madhahib al-Islamiyah is one the most famous works of Abu Zahra that are composed in six hundred and seventy pages and in two parts. The first part is the expression of political and religious faiths and the second part deals with the history of religious sects. After studying a long introduction to the subject of Ijtihad and times of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) until the periods of companions and followers, the second part of the book, explains the origins of juridical principles and the eight great scholars of the Islamic jurisprudence. Abu Zahra, in his book addresses the four Faqihs of the Sunni including Abū Ḥanīfah, Imam Malik, Muhammad ibn Idrīs al-Shāfīʿī and Ahmad ibn Hanbal and their Fiqhi principles. Although the writer if the book is the poineer of unity in Islamic world but his ideas and sayings about the four Faqihs of the Sunni and Fiqhi principles caused us to critical review of his literature.
