“Historical development of jihadist- Salafism since the beginning until now”

Islamic world in the past century, especially the past few decades has witnessed the formation and growth of various currents of different opinions. Contemporary Jihadi Salafi current is one of the Salafi species raised as a symbol of violence in the Muslim world and of course across the world. Hence, the paper tries to study historical development the Salafist jihadist current from the beginning by a descriptive – analytical method. According to this paper, Tkfir in Salafism is rooted in Ibn Taymiyyah’s ideas but nowadays Sayyid Qutb offers issues such as Jihad and Hijrah and states that all rulers have ignorant thinking and all Islamic cities and other cities are ignorant through idea of Ignorance of twentieth-century. Therefore he believes bipolar community including Dorosalam and Dorolfekr. This Idea resulted in formation of Salafi groups such as al-Takfir and al-Jirah and al-Jahad in Egypt and Boko Haram in West Africa and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and Isis in Iraq and Syria. These groups kill people by excommunication of Muslim and non-Muslim rulers through armed insurrection and jihad. It is important to note that the Salafi jihadist groups have in common with each other in excommunication of Shi’a but Shi’a is a far enemy for al-Qaeda and a close enemy for Isis.
