This thesis is aimed at explaining the concept of beauty through restructuration of the concept of beauty from Qur’anic concepts based on Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli’s interpretations and opinions. According his philosophical and mystical approach, the ability to develop concepts and find relationship enables us, after discussing the concept of the beauty, to find an appropriate context to understand religious concepts-based aesthetics. In the second chapter, the intellectual basis of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli will be addressed in order to understand his point of view about the subject and clarify his interpretive, philosophical, and mystical basis. In chapter three, his opinions about the beauty, and its related concepts are discussed in order to develop a network of related meanings derived from the concepts of intellect and inspiration, and study the beauty and its aspects. According to Quran’s verses, beauty is the ontological revelation flowing in human being which, together with the existence, is given to the being and is not apart from it. Beauty of existence and nominal manifestation, beauty of His grace and glory, degrees of the beauty in God’s nearness and the divine beauty and its manifestation are addressed. Then, the epistemology of the beauty, its characteristics, and kinds of beauty in terms of knowledge, internal and external are discussed. The materialistic and unmaterialistic criteria for the essence of the beauty and the relationship between the beauty and ornament and anthropology and the seduction of the beauty, and the relationship between such concepts as beauty and love, beauty and knowledge, beauty and nature, beauty and imagination power also will be discussed. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the art from Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s viewpoint. In this chapter, the place of the art, real and unreal art, theoretical and practical reason in the art, Islamic art, and characteristics of the religious artist, the purpose of the art and ethical behavior and its relationship with Shi’ite, mysticism, and ethics are discussed. Finally, we will focus on poetry and cinema.
