One of the most striking and jumbled topics in the field of jurisprudence, which has a prominent role in the approximation or separation of religions, is the issue of absenteeism, whether it is Sunni or Shi’a, and essentially one of the issues raised in the jurisprudence is whether Absence of opponents in religion, whether Shiites or Sunnis are permissible? In this paper, using a descriptive-analytical method, this issue is dealt with that the absence of both Shi’a and Sunni sources is unpleasant and has been considered to be numerous. It will also be drawn up how the prescribing officers of the opposition to absenteeism, in the Shiite, have invoked Quranic verses, Hadiths, and verses of the Qur’an for adoption of such a fatwa, while the verses cited therein can be reciprocated, and there are verses that are contrary to This argued. In the context of narratives, the public is also given out by seemingly contradictory narratives; moreover, there is no reason to refer to this issue for many reasons. In contrast to this view, the abusers against the absence of reliance rely on the verses of the Qur’an, the traditions and principles that are closer to Sowab. It is also stated that in Sunnis, the proponents of oppositional absenteeism have invoked the Shi’i no-one in their promises, based on various reasons such as the denial of the caliphate of the three caliphs, the Shi’a’s heresy, the Companions and the Takfir of the Companions, and… However, each of these claims can be ruled out by relying on the Qur’an and authentic Hadiths of the Sunni. Against this view, there is also the notion of Sunni absenteeism based on the Qur’an, tradition and ethical rules, and more consistent with religious content.
