\u063a\u0645<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In recent years, because of tragedies like the Holocaust, there have been many criticisms of the problem of evil, the origin of which can be seen as the inefficiency and seriousness of the existential problem of evil, and this caused the traditional theodicies to be challenged. In recent years, Philosopher such as Nick Trakakis, David Blumenthal, John Roth, and especially Kenneth Sorin criticized traditional theodicy in their works in the form of discursive, ethical, and existential critiques. Kenneth Severin&#8217;s work called Theology and the Problem of Evil, published in 1986, is usually known as a classic and early work. Other philosophers have also written articles in recent years. But when we go to the analytical philosopher named C.S. Lewis, in his narrative work called A Grief Observed, we see that most of these three critiques and precisely the existential issues of evil can be read in his narrative book, and this shows that about 60 years ago, these criticisms were present in Lewis&#8217;s writings. So, in a way, we can find the origin of existing criticisms of traditional theodicy in his work.
