Its objective is to demonstrate that the notions of God&#8217;s incarnation and Christ&#8217;s divinity are regarded as myths, lacking any basis in reality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Historical Jesus did not perceive himself as &#8220;God Incarnate&#8221; or the &#8220;incarnation of the second person of the Trinity.&#8221; Furthermore, the portrayal of Jesus in the three gospels of Mark, Matthew, and Luke does not diverge from his depiction in the Quran as a distinguished messenger of God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Issues discussed in the book include the following: a cloud of witnesses, myth in theology, Jesus and world religions, the Christ of the Christendom, Jesus as a man of universal destiny, Christianity without incarnation, and the creed of experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authors who contributed to this book include Maurice Wiles, Frances Young, Michael Goulder, Leslie Houlden, Don Cupitt, Dennis Nineham, and John Hick.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The book, authored by seven individuals, was published three decades ago.
