The faculty focuses on the study of Islamic denominations from three principal dimensions: historical, jurisprudential, and theological.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The primary mission of the faculty is to intellectually prepare students to develop a deeper and more empathetic understanding of the followers of various Islamic denominations. One of the most important objectives of the faculty is to educate students in such a way that, in addition to acquiring theoretical knowledge of the doctrines and teachings of various Islamic denominations, they internalize intellectual and spiritual harmony with the followers of other Islamic denominations. Through scholarly articles and academic theses, graduates of this Faculty conduct research that can contribute significantly to presenting new perspectives on the teachings of Islamic denominations. Consequently, by the end of their studies, researchers are trained who are capable of strengthening religious thought, deepening the teachings of their own particular denomination, and fostering a creative spirit in cultural fields related to inter\u2011denominational dialogue and global peace among different Islamic denominations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Graduates of this Faculty, in addition to teaching courses related to Islamic denominations as faculty members or adjunct lecturers, may engage in research in various Islamic traditions, whether jurisprudential or theological. They can also serve as knowledgeable specialists in Islamic denominations, playing an active role in establishing communication and dialogue with scholars and followers of different Islamic traditions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Faculty of Islamic Denominations currently comprises two departments: \u201cComparative Jurisprudence and Law\u201d and \u201cIslamic Denominations\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, the Faculty of Islamic Denominationsadmits students in the following programs:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ph.D. Programs:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Jurisprudential Denominations (Comparative Studies of Islamic Denominations)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Theological Schools<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Denominations &#8211; Proximity and Unity Studies<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Wahhabism Studies<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Master\u2019s Programs:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Jurisprudential Denominations<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Comparative Jurisprudence and Islamic Public Law<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Comparative Jurisprudence and Islamic Criminal Law<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Denominations<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bachelor\u2019s Program:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Islamic Jurisprudence and Law<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instruction at the Faculty of Islamic Denominations is offered in Persian, Arabic, and English. The Faculty regularly organizes scheduled academic seminars on topics related to Islamic denominations. The Islamic Denominations Student Association is one of the active student organizations within the Faculty, holding numerous academic sessions and lectures.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to offering in\u2011person education in all programs and degree levels, the Faculty also provides online instruction in the Bachelor\u2019s program in \u201cIslamic Jurisprudence and Law\u201d, and in the Master\u2019s programs in \u201cIslamic Jurisprudential Denominations\u201d and \u201cIslamic Denominations\u201d Ph.D. programs are also offered in a research\u2011based format. In the research\u2011oriented track, students are admitted through submission of a research proposal and subsequently complete and defend their dissertation through research and consultation with academic advisors and supervisors, either online or in person, as determined by the Faculty.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Admission procedures for non\u2011Iranian applicants differ from those for Iranian nationals. Iranian applicants are admitted through a national entrance examination, whereas non\u2011Iranian applicants may apply without taking an entrance exam by submitting the required university documents. Applications for Master\u2019s and Ph.D. programs are reviewed by the Faculty\u2019s academic committees. Following evaluation of the applicant\u2019s academic r\u00e9sum\u00e9, level of interest, and other criteria, a decision of acceptance or rejection is announced.
