The Faculty of Social Sciences focuses on the study of the fields of management, communication and sociology, psychology and educational sciences, and women and family studies.<\/p>\n
Department of Women and Family Studies<\/strong> At present, the Department of Women and Family Studies admits students to the PhD program in \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies \u2013 Women\u2019s Rights in Islam,\u201d and to the master\u2019s programs in \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies \u2013 Women and Family\u201d and \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies \u2013 Women\u2019s Rights in Islam.\u201d Instruction in the department is offered in Persian, Arabic, and English. The department regularly organizes scheduled academic and promotional seminars on topics related to women and family. The \u201cWomen and Family Student Association\u201d is one of the active student associations of the faculty and holds numerous academic sessions and lectures within the faculty.<\/p>\n Education in the Department of Women and Family Studies for both master\u2019s programs\u2014\u201cWomen\u2019s Studies (Women and Family)\u201d and \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies (Women\u2019s Rights in Islam)\u201d\u2014is offered both in-person and online. However, the PhD program in \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies \u2013 Women\u2019s Rights in Islam\u201d is offered only in person and follows a research-oriented approach. In the research-oriented mode of study, students are admitted through a research proposal. They then complete and present their dissertation through research and interaction with their supervisors and advisors, which may take place either online or in person according to the decision of the faculty members.<\/p>\n Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences<\/strong> Currently, the department admits students at the master\u2019s level in four programs: \u201cGeneral Psychology,\u201d \u201cPersonality Psychology,\u201d \u201cFamily Psychology,\u201d and \u201cEducational and Curriculum Planning.\u201d Graduates of this department can work in educational, research, and counseling fields. In addition to teaching in higher education institutions, they may also engage in research and provide professional services in educational, research, and counseling centers related to psychology and educational sciences.<\/p>\n Department of Management<\/strong> Another objective of the department is to cultivate capable academic professionals who can teach management from various perspectives and contribute to the development of research in the field of management. Graduates of this department can apply the results of scientific studies and research in academic and educational institutions and play effective roles in administrative and managerial organizations.<\/p>\n Currently, the department admits students to master\u2019s programs in \u201cManagement,\u201d \u201cMedia Management,\u201d and \u201cStrategic Management of Culture.\u201d It also offers a PhD program in \u201cMedia Management.\u201d<\/p>\n Department of Communication and Sociology<\/strong> At present, the department admits students at the master\u2019s level in the programs \u201cSocial Communication Sciences,\u201d \u201cCulture and Communication (Cyberspace Studies),\u201d \u201cSociology,\u201d and \u201cSociology of Culture.\u201d Graduates of these programs can pursue academic and professional careers in universities and research centers, as well as in cultural and social institutions, media organizations, and institutions related to communication and social studies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Faculty of Social Sciences focuses on the study of the fields of management, communication and sociology, psychology and educational sciences, and women and family studies. In fact, the primary focus of this department is to provide scholars with a sound understanding of the Islamic perspective on women and the family within the framework of the intellectual and social system of Islam. One of the most important objectives of this department is to enable its graduates to benefit from authentic Islamic thought in addressing scientific issues related to women and family matters and to develop a creative spirit in this field. Graduates of this department, in addition to teaching courses in women\u2019s studies as faculty members or visiting lecturers, can also engage in research in the areas of women and family as well as women\u2019s rights in Islam.<\/p>\n
\nThe Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences is one of the academic departments of the Faculty of Social Sciences and is engaged in education and research in the fields of psychology and education. With a scientific and interdisciplinary approach, this department seeks to provide scholars with a deeper understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and effective methods of teaching and learning.<\/p>\n
\nThe Department of Management was established with the aim of training researchers and specialists in the fields of administrative sciences and management studies. The department seeks to educate scholars who possess a solid understanding of theoretical and practical foundations of management and administrative systems, enabling them to analyze and interpret organizational and administrative structures and design appropriate executive models for management at different levels.<\/p>\n
\nThe Department of Communication and Sociology is one of the academic departments of the Faculty of Social Sciences and focuses on the scientific study of society, culture, and communication processes in contemporary societies.<\/p>\n
