This program, as an interdisciplinary specialization with the orientation of philosophy of law, includes courses in jurisprudence, civil law, criminal law, international law, and public law, as far as they are related to the area of women and family. The goals of this program is theorizing and developing knowledge-based strategies in woman and family law, and developing a comprehensive look at women\u2019s rights in Islam. Today, issues related to women such as women\u2019s rights are among the main issues in the world\u2019s political and legal assemblies. Since women have a special position in the evolution and maturity of societies, the identity crisis of women and families has damaged the international community. Therefore, educations on women&#8217;s and family rights and explaining the excellent position of women in the eyes of Islam can remarkably help solve the identity crisis in women and families.<\/p>\n<p>This program seeks to present a comprehensive look at women\u2019s rights through relying upon the basics and principles of Islamic legislation. Also, the development and indigenization of women\u2019s issues are also made possible through scholarly methods by relying on ethical principles and Islamic values. Moreover, the program provides an appropriate platform for enhancing the society\u2019s Islamic, scholarly thinking about women\u2019s rights. Recognition and detailed analysis of different schools and currents that defend women&#8217;s rights, and scholarly defense of Islamic thoughts in the area of women and family are on the agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The graduates of this program are prepared to theorize the field of women and family. They also obtain the required expertise in indigenization of women\u2019s issues based on ethical principles and Islamic values, making them experts in philosophy of women\u2019s and family rights.<\/p>\n<p>Holding a master\u2019s degree or an equivalent is sufficient for enrollment in this program. The previous degree of the applicant must be verified by the consulate of Iran in the issuing country. Also, matching the applicants\u2019 previous field of study with the current program is not necessary. Upon establishing the applicants\u2019 scholarly competency and the committee\u2019s agreement, the applicants are eligible to study in this program regardless of their previous field of study.
