Members of the World Council of Churches visit the University of Religions and Denominations

Members of the World Council of Churches visited the University on 23rd of August and met Dr. Navvab the president of the university.

Dr. Navvab, in this meeting, expressed hopefulness for the continuation of the relationship with the council. Being asked about the background and activities of the University, Dr. Navvab presented necessary information and mentioned the cooperation with German universities, particularly Paderborn and Potsdam.

Dr. Navvab also added that we are facing the peak of terrorist activities in the world and said we will soon witness the collapse of such trends.

Members of the council, introducing themselves, clarified their stance towards the dialogue among religions.

The members of the World Council of Churches came to Iran to participate in the ninth round of religious dialogue between Iran and World Council of Churches which ended on 22nd of August issuing a statement.
